Demo?

Is one coming out?

I've taken interest in this game after watching the walkthrough on gametrailers.com, and I'd really like to try out this game before I buy it(Becouse im broke and need to be careful how to spend whatever I get)

I'd be really happy if a demo is coming out, and I was wondering if it is planned, and if it is, when would it come out?

I'd hope soon becouse im getting twitchy

I don't like pre-ordering becouse I have bad experiences in such things, so I can't be a part of the beta unfortunatly

Hey

There are no plans for a Demo yet, as its a beta which means there can be problems/errors. So a demo at this point would be like shooting themself in the foot as some might have bugs and think badly

Your best bet for a "demo" is to watch the gameplay video's i made in high quality here

Or look at this test i did, to test the stability of the game 20.368 ships test. But that one isent playable with PC's of today though

If we do a demo, it probably won't be until after release.

Thanks for the quick responses, and Multianna, I am watching Beta4 as we "speak"

Though a bit confusing becouse of your very quick movements around, I barely understand what is going on

A shame to hear a demo, if it is even made, will come out AFTER the game is made however :-/ I will probably have forgotten about the game by then, or spent money on other things

Well, it was a real MP game so he sort of had to I'm still sad that he kept zooming in and out during the final battle

I know, I just mean that, it would be great to be able to test it myself at my own pace to see if I wanted to buy it. But since there won't be a demo before after the game is released(If any at all) I doubt I'll get a hold of it. Though it looks fun

You might take a look at some of the older video's.
Beta 1 & 2 is old, but is more slow movements, so it might give and idea how its played.

Now that you say it, ive also heard from others that i play too fast, so im thinking of making another Video of beta 4, in single player or multi player against the AI, so it will be easier to understand. Where i show more of how to use the empire three and such, just slowly

Ill be making it as we get a new patch, which can be around 2-3week i guess.

So stay tuned

I don't like watching outdated stuff really ^^;; I feel like I am getting a false view of the game which I just .. Well, I don't like

And I doubt I'll stay tuned I feel kinda out of the loop with everyone else in the beta, and I can't really get into the game at this point.

Was great seeing you. Too bad about the demo >.<

i want a demo too.......after alll.......it is beta 4.....as i take it it is the final beta....is that true....if so you can relese the demo to the demo version of pc gamer so i can get it (i have 2 subscriptions). plz.....a month before the actual release of the game (being feb. 1st, 2008) in january would really work......it gives people to see a bit of the really REALLY polished and debugged gameplay to see if he/she wants it. Also most people are stupid and after looking at beta 1 or 2 (mabey 3) they give up on the game.....plz a demo would reallywork......there are plenty of games that have done betas and a demo.....and have sold better or worse (the owners still were thankfull they could see the game first realy pollished)than those that just did the beta. c'mon......at least try.............................................................well...uh.....thats all i can say for now.....lol.

supcom we can barely abide the dramatic overuse of ellipsis, please PLEASE put in some other form of punctuation, I count 3 sole periods, 1 is used to abbreviate february.

Depending on where he lives, it isn't hard to get weed or alcohol. Some started smoking (normal cigs/weed) around 5th grade, 11-12 years old. Beer isn't too hard to find either, there's some places where anyone can buy alcohol, as long as you aren't 12 years old.

Another complaint about the form in which he is posting is that half his post is total caps lock while the other half doesn't use caps where it should (like the two i's after the p.s.). I hope this will improve your writing supcomfan.
