If you set a new course for a scout that is auto-exploring and during "warp" you get strange blue phaselines displayed sometimes even where no lines are! After entering a gravwell you can give the order without these strange lines shown.

Or it displays a totally strange course forth and back the entire galaxy if you click on a planet next to the one you warp to.
