Which of the 3 races do you favor/ frequently play as most? Why? Mine is the Vasari Empire.... THEY ROCK

i use tec because i like their ship designs and they are the good guys trying to defend their existence. but in the end gameplay wise, all races are the same just some minor differences.

I go random mostly, unless I'm trying something out. All 3 are excellent, and I enjoy them so much going random feels like the only choice

Advent for many reasons:

1.Their capital ship carrier (forget it's name)
2.I love using fighters and bombers which the Advent have a lot of bonuses for. The fact that I love their carrier also helps
3.Lasers! Pew Pew!
4.Culture bonus
5.Best voices IMO

I like the prates, even though we can't play as them. maybe in some future expansion I'll have the option of charging into battle with me "jolly rodger" and trusty parrot!

As far as playable races go, I like playing the TEC, for the easy economy boost.

By imperial navy do you mean The Star Wars Galactic Empire Navy? If so then yes...yes it does.

Advent here, pretty much for all the reasons eisenhorn listed (fighter focused, beam weapons, culture infection, voices, ship design ect).

Took me a while to realize that the advent is all chicks. Like really, ALL chicks, which I think is awesome.

Vasari all the way. Mobility, awesome evil voices(and Vulkoras with the most awesome awesome voice), phase missiles... what's not to like?

I believe he means the Imperial Navy in Warhammer 40K since that's the Adeptus Mechanicus symbol in his avatar. 40K is also where I got my username from.

I'd also like to point out that this game is perfect for a Battlefleet Gothic mod.

Probably Vasari at the moment. But I hate charged missiles...if the ability worked out better than my probably would upgrade to definitely.
