Are the superweapons interplanetary or interstellar?

Everything I've read refers to them as interplanetary, but with no useful save games available experimenting would require playing a brand new multi-star game to T8 and I was hoping to study this spring. Thanks in advance.

They are in fact interstellar, but take an insanely long time to reach other stars. There's been a bit of debate as to whether or not this is planned or a bug, but one way or the other we haven't heard a definitive answer from IC on this.

its not like it matters, the only way its useful for interstellar is if you know the enemy's home planet and at least 3-4 novas then you *can* spike his planet for a rediculous expense, but then again is that even worth it???

Apparently if it is my homeworld it is...I was informed after last nights game that I had multiple Novalith strikes incoming, but we had to end the game before they all arrived.
