Question about a particular change that I cannot find the answer to...

I have searched for quite awhile, to no avail, for the answer to this:

-Is it possible to change the size of a star, in all instances that it can occur in? The disproportiante size against the galaxy is driving me crazy. I'm willing to go the distance, if someone knows how to get this done.
