2 issues: hud flickering and windows media center

i searched around but couldnt find anything about these issues

hud flickering: if i am zoomed in far enough (planetary view and closer) my hud will flicker if ships start phase jumping.  this happened in the demo as well

windows media center: why does it come up everytime i exit the game?

i'm running 1.04 on a vista (not sp1) laptop with a 2GHz processor 2 gigs of ram and an nvidia quadro nvs 120m

I think it's something weird in Windows. For me it happens when I launch/quit Guild Wars, but stays quiet in all other games, including Sins.

I have no idea about the hud issue. Specs?

I find that media center starts after exiting the game if I start using Sins of a Solar Empire-MCE instead of Sins of a Solar Empire.exe.
