I've not touched consoles in a LONG time, but don't they have keyboard/mouse interface capability and such, and are pretty powerful now? so why lol at the idea of a port to them? Don't plan on getting consoles anytime soon my self, but I'm just curious why its so funny?

I really dont think this will be on ps3 or any console for that matter. It would be nice though. Still Supreme commander and LOTR BFME went to the xboxs but thats cos EA do all ports.

If Sins were released on PS3, wouldn't that make it the first good game released on that platform?

I think that would be such a break with tradition of crappy game after crappy game that the console might actually self destruct from being used instead of sitting in the corner looking pretty.

Don't lobby for this game to be ported to the PS3, you want to keep that baby in mint condition for the next 5 years so when the PS4 comes out you can say "Wait a second... I wasted a ton of money on that POS PS3, I'm not going to be a sucker a second time". Then you can look at your dusty mint condition PS3 sitting in the corner and say:

"Thanks buddy you just saved me a pile of money this time around"

I hope they listen, anyone that can't operate a computer and has to turn to a console for their sole entertainment because 'komputrz are hard' should not only be relegated to 'console only' status, but should be loaded into a cannon and shot at the nearest wall.

Console homotrons are far more condescending than PC people by and large. They huff and puff on and on about their latest watered down title that looks like garbage compared to anything PC then put their headset on for some lame controlling FPS that doesn't use a keyboard and mouse.

I keep waiting for a FPS to come out that allows PC users to play against Console users so their pathetic skills and sub-par platform can be laughed at in the first person.

Just for the record, though, I don't think Sins would work well on a normal console. While the control schemes they've been coming up with for console RTSs are actually pretty good, none of those have 3D rotation. A console controller simply can't pull that off. The Wii might be able to get away with it, though...

Most PC gamers (even me) have a console game system like a Wii or Xbox etc.. They don't have a fundamental problem with consoles as they 'fill a role' in their gaming buffet. But the rabid console boys I see running around on boards are the ones that talk trash about PC's and how superior consoles are to *.*. That's what provoked my comments, and the paragraph you quoted as if it bolstered your claim.

That's actually false, as I was making that statement to the vast majority of console kiddies that usually turn out to be too cheap and stupid to build and run a capable PC so they cling to their console like it is the second coming of Christ.

So what if some people perfer simplicity and a garunteed pay and play philosophy without the constant upgrades and hard-ware/soft-ware complications that PC gaming is notorious for? I myself only use the laptop I am now typeing on for RTS style games, while leaving the majority of playtime to my 360. Should I be looked down on because I dont have the time, expeariance and spare cash to buld myself a gaming rig?

That's because the "console community" is composed of frat-boys, morons, and is pretty much the 'catch-all' of any retard who's never played a video game before in their life. A condescending console community is pretty much the lowest you can get.

It's an insult to anyone who's ever custom-tuned an engine themselves and put meticulous time into rebuilding and upgrading it all. I am a PC elitist. Oh I wasn't always, it wasn't until around 2005 or so when the Xbox had finished completely raping and destroying my hobby, and my hobby became "accessible" to every retard who never gave a shit about gaming before in their lives.

Prior to dumbing-down every single aspect of gaming, even down to the controls (because anything with more than a dozen buttons confuses and infuriates 9/10 Neanderthals), these were the people who thought gaming was 'for nerds'. Once it was dropped to their level, all of a sudden it was 'cool'.
