Hi , wish I had added to friends the people in this MP game. Its just I told them I was new and they were really good about it, In fact I even suspect thats why they didnt bid the pirates on me even once and only on the other guy on my team (He was obviously a good player) , he carried me at the start(Name was ttf or tff or something) and fought both them and ended up wiping out the first guy(THINK he was quite new like myself)

I botched my start game well at least I think I did because when the bidding war started , I didnt have the money to help my teamate out. The way it worked I had two pirate bases between the convienant way into my mian colonys, so I colonised about half the map, I actually should have had more money but I plowed it into research. Eventually I got a decent batch of cash and gave it too my teamate to make up for ealier and started plowing out kodiaks , a few hoshikos , 2 command cruisers, lots of lrms and some flaks. I ended up taking the long way around to the right , got an enemy colony while my teamate fought them from the left, we ended up having the last person kinda stuck in the end.

I will say this though whoever it was put up some fight, my partner went advent but Im not sure if any of the others went advent, but I must admit I feel kinda bad for that last person since they seemed to be a decent player and I reckon they didnt set the pirates on me because I was new. I botched the way I done things for so long and if they had upset me earlier I would have been gone. The thing is if I hadnt made a move well I know from playing other strats thats my mistake I focus on getting a big fleet but by the time I feel ccomfortable , my teamate is down and I have lots of enemys picking me of easily at the end, if I left it any longer that may have happened so I made my move. The vet on my team carried me though and I guess me getting that last colony on the other side of the enemies planet and plowing out ships was the only useful thing I did. (even this the teamate sent some supporting fleet in)

Really enjoyed the game though but not happy with how I played, as if I got attacked early I was gone in like 2 mins and at the same time my end game fleet of kodiaks felt squishy at times, held up by advent support ships. Anyway I can only thank the opposing team for making allowances but they must have to let me get a feel for MP and its appreciated.

Actually I hope that replay is there somewhere but if any from that earlier game are reading thanks all and any tips on where I went wrong feel free to add:) since I know I am going to not always have my start planets in such a good position and to get left alone like that in future.
