How to play Galaxy Forge Maps?

I have downloaded galaxy foge and created a map, but I have no idea how to transfer this map onto the game. If anyone knows how, please reply.

I have saved in the .galaxy folder, but the game either is not recognizing it or I am saving it in the wrong folder, if you know what I am doing wrong, please replt.

i can see my maps but when it loads it says DEFEAT! someone help

I saved it to my galaxy file in sins directly as a .galaxy item but it still won't show up in the game.

I had this problem to and after searching the forums for an hour i found it here

but make sure you put the file in the galaxy folder and thats in this directory for vista

C:\Program File\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy

I think it might be the same in xp key thing it must be saved under the program files directory NOT

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy

Hi Fellow Sinners!,

Like you I have been taking my first tentative steps in map making with Galaxy Forge.
The path for my map folder is slightly different, I bought the download only version of SinsofaSolarEmpire....

C:/Program Files/Stardock/Totalgaming/SinsofaSolarEmpire/Galaxy

My maps worked okay once I put them in the .Galaxy folder located there.

OMG!!! i love edsa and starbuccaneer, no homo, THANK YOU SOO SOO MUCH!!! it works now. i didnt realize that there were two .gal folders... even tho i dont get y... ... but ne way.. thank you
