Strange goings-on with colour pallette since 1.05 Patch.

D/L'ed the 1.05 Patch and everything seemed fine. Started playing a game as the Vesari and though I had chosen Dark Blue as my Empire's colour theme I was presented with light green instead. Thought it might have to do with playing that Race, but every time I start a new game as any of the three Races, no matter what colour I choose, I'm always green.

And yes I have a legal Retail game and have patched correctly. I am playing without the disc (seems to have been in one of the patches) but even with the disc in my drive the same glitch occurs. Wondering if anyone else has noticed this or has any idea what it might be.

Ah! Go to your options and where it says "Use team colors" (I forget under which tab) click off it. That should allow you to use your own scheme.

on a side note,
the game ran without the disc from the start,
there was a discussion on this a while ago and i believe that the general consensus was that ironclad put that in so that you wouldn't need to buy eight copies of the game just so you could run a LAN party. if you want to play over the internet then you will need to purchase a copy but you can just install it on i think a total of five computers so that you can run said LAN. in short, ironclad is awesome and doesn't believe in DRM.
