I Know who's chasing Vasari!!!

ANDROIDS, end of.

Look, their crazy creator sent out spybots into the Vasari, TEC and Advent empires and took samples of their cells and took photo shots of their orbital structures and samples of nano bla bla bla. For years he created the ultimate fleet which looked just like the people from these factions. And gradually he sends out them droids to exterminate the 3 factions. He obviously went for Vasari because they are an ugly and horrid species, then he's gonna go for TEC because that was he previous homeworld, they threw him out because they did'nt believe that war and conflict would overcome their world. And then Advent, becuase hmmm its the last of the 3 factions.

or following the storyline:

the crazy creator sent out spybots into the vasari empire, replicated their ugly mugs, copied their structures and technology and made the same ships. Everyone looks like a Vasari thing but this is where it all started 'FROM WITHIN THE EMPIRE'

cool, eh?

i know this was kinda used in homeworld cataclysm but lets go with the stereotypical thing. the vasari created some sort of organic ship or life or A.I. or something that was considered top secret(therefore not even some high ranking military officials knew of it let alone the public)and it got out of control started takingevery planet it could find liek a cancer and is simply wiping out all other organic life in the universe and the vasari since it was top secret are running away from it (yes its been overdone a million times but wat hasnt been overdone in this game???? fighting a losing battle agains a alien race kinda been done already, all of a sudden the people u like said get the hell out to come back and are pissed. overdone 2) so yea ithink this is probaly gonna be the storyline for the soase expansion pack thats already been confirmed to be on its way and if its not liek organic its gonna be close robots ro sumthing like that

Your story doesn't make sense because it says that the Vasari created the thing they're running from. In my version, the Vasari were trying to make clones, and they suceeded. But they made one grave mistake, they thought the clones were mindless slaves. They made them work 24/7/365. Eventually, the clones began developing their own wants, and so the clone rebellion began. The clones secretly stole entire fleets, and destroyed the Vasari's original government infastructure. The last of the Vasari managed to flee, but about 95% of the original population had been killed. The clones, being satisfied, left the Vasari to their retreat and decided to develop their own society. Later, they would return and destroy every living being in the universe, making everthing and everyone clones of the originals.

But don't you guys remember the lore provided - the one ship that returned from the "unknown enemy's wrath" from that Vasari fleet was filled with Vasari crew - who had all gone insane - some kind of hive virus.

Just to go with overdone storylines, and because my friend dared me to post this, I think I have a pretty good idea. The only thing that could strike fear into the hearts of the most powerful civilization in the universe.

I say its the nano bots the varsai created that is chasing them. It would explain why they lose planets so fast from it. Also I belive it says some were that they are fleeing something that they created.

Organic ships are lame. You know what an organic ship would really do? Bleed to death, that's what.
We've already had the "zomg uber organic ships of doom our primitive machine technology can't stand up to their awesome power!" in Galciv II and Sword of the Stars. Let's not bring this ridiculous and way overdone concept to Sins.
Conversely, robots are also lame.

Personally, I'd go with ExtreDimensional Menace. Probably drawn into the galaxy by some kind of Vasari experiment gone terribly wrong. I hope it'll turn out to have been in the Vasari fleet all along, sadistically tormenting them by making them think they are being followed while also following their obligatory Hidden Villain Agenda.

Anyone remember what happened to the Androsynth in Star Control 2? Nightmare *something* from another dimension, that drives them insane and can appear no matter where they hide. I'd go with that.
