Hi, i've looked through the threads here but I couldn't find any info about this. Feel free to close this if i'm just blind and this has already been explained.

I just downloaded 1.09 using impulse, but I encountered problems. It seems 1.09 didn't like my mods, so I deleted the mods and reinstalled the game from scratch, then updated the game again. The game worked fine, so I tried to mod the Gameinfo files as i've always done in the past.

...Except, I can't. When I open the .entity files, they're an unintelligible mess. Before I updated the game, I was able to edit the files in notepad without any problems. Has this been changed because it is still a beta or am I supposed to use a different program now? Thanks for your help.
