Has anyone figured out how to modify/create texture animations? I'm trying to create an animation for the Stargate mod for when the Stargate Activates and the white pre-swoosh effect comes in a ring from the outside and meets in the center of the Stargate. Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWGAwLDdNFQ for a visual look. I'm talking about the effect immediatly before the big wave thing.

Back to my main purpose, I want to make that effect and I think that a texture animation would work the best. Does anyone know how to modify texture animation files to create this. Or if you have any suggestions of better ways to create the afore-mentioned effect, please post them.
