Ironclad Online Broken? [resolved - server down]

Not just you, I am having the same issue.

Same here, it was my first time trying, I went digging through my router's firewall settings, the config file for Sins, my adapter protocols (insert many, many explitives) for a while after that I also got some weird errors when I tried to come to this site. I haven't tried ICO since, might be fixed now.

Do i have to create a new account or could i use the same as before?

Ditto - I updated an existing ICO post was broken. I was also getting issues with the forums about 5-6 hours ago - 500 error messages, nothing on the front page where the latest topics were listed (sins site, not forums section) and the forums themselves were giving .NET errors or SQL Server 2005 errors.

Just wondering, did they announce a downtime or something to that effect?Or any other issues that are undergoing?

Just recived the game, I cant create a new account Same problem as described above, it tells me "diconnected from ironclad online"

Does anyone suspect their serial has been compromised?

And are you guys all updated to 1.11?

AFAIK Craig the old ICO server port was 6000 so it gave the "wrong version of ICO detected" error for people with earlier patches, but I've noticed the server port for 1.1 is 7000 now which would mean all the people on port 6000 with earlier game versions will just get a disconnect instead of the wrong version message.

I've played several multiplayer games after updating to 1.1 without any trouble. Last night I got a "Disconnected from Ironclad Online" during a multiplayer game and haven't been able to log on ICO since.

What is that suppost to mean?

I'm having trouble getting on as well.  I played a few games last night without problem, I havn't changed anything and I can't get on.

I cant get on atm either been on 1.1 playing fine for several days till now... usually means server is down

ICO went down on me in the middle of a game AGAIN near midnight last night... its now noon and still down. being a sins player is kinda like that time they tried fo fix the titanic after it hit the ice berg.... "more duct tape guys! I think its working!!!"

I am pretty sure this is about the 5th thread on this. 6 days later and it still doesn't work. It is the most perplexing issue ever, considering changing versions shouldn't affect anything on the server side.  Perhaps one could hope that with v1.1, there are SO MANY people wanting to play online now that it is overloading the servers.  One could hope...

This is a seperate issue Howdidudothat. The server has been acting as it should until last night. We have isolated the problem and it should be resolved shortly.

We think the server issue has been addressed. It would be a great help if everyone could log into ICO and try to join now. Thanks

I tried it again, and bravo, there weren't any active games, and I'm on dial-up through my cell phone right now, so I won't bother to host one, but it works     ...have I ever told you how beautiful you are Craig, that firm chisled jaw, and those penetrating amber... lines.

I can log on fine now.
