when you zoom out from a planet, just before the individual icons make way for the more astracted view (with the three bars left right and bottom), I feel that the starbase icon (at least the tec one) is just too large, it blocks too much view. I'll get you a screenshot, but I can't find any of those I made in the folders (where the saves games and records are stored). when I figure it out and you still need one, you'll get it.
