Bug capship stuck between wormholes

I had a Rapture Battlecruiser get stuck between two wormholes on the Implosion large scenario.

It seems like it never went in to phase space but just tried to cross the distance by regular flight...

I had previously explored the wormhole and sent my fleet through. Then I set a capship factory to produce the rapture and set the rallyingpoint to a capship in the fleet. Then when I looked for the finished ship later I discovered that it was stuck approx 1/5 of the way between the two wormholes.

Could it be that your clever little rapture came off the supply line while the cap it was assigned to was in the phase lane and so like a good boy it thought it would follow it to that point?

My next hypothesis would therefore be that at some point 6 months into their voyage they decided to turn around with little more than peanuts and the Unity sending thoughts of hysterical laughter in their direction. Upon said turning however they discovered that fate or God had decided they were too stupid to live and so had disabled their engines.

 

In all seriousness I reckon you found a one off problem that will probably never happen again except in my case as I now send all my caps to a ship ready to jump to a inter cluster phase as soon as their nearly ready

I suppose the bold is the real reason why advent developed such efficient broadcast centers...
