i bought the digital download of sins then the expansion without baking up the original. is there anyway to get the original sins back?

Uninstall what you have, uncheck "show pre-release versions" in the blue orb menu. Install Sins 1.12, make a copy of the folder, and then install Entrenchment. You can run 1.12 out of the copied folder and Entrenchment from the original installation.
