Very sorry if these have been posted before, but I've been too busy to look through the previous posts (I noticed the bugs themselves in my last game which was two weeks ago!)
1) My Starbase was firing weapons and destroying enemies whilst under construction. - I'm not complaining because it helped me defend a planet, but unless it's meant to be a Death Star style decoy, it might be better if it didn't.
2) Ally AI needs fixing on a couple of things
2a) When I ping them to defend one of my planets which is under attack, they either i) Never come ii) take FAR too long to arrive iii) when (if) they do arrive, they often ignore the attacking forces and go back to what they were doing EVEN IF I tell them to attack individual targets.
ok, ii) is because they always phase jump simultaneously - not ideal but bearable.
iii) warrants further explanation -
I was heavily under attack and requested help from an AI ally (using the 'defend' ping button)- the teams were LOCKED 2v2.
They arrived about 10 minutes later, and then when they arrived en masse, they attacked for about 30 seconds and then made their way out of the gravity well. I told them to attack specific enemy ships, and was told "we will not attack an ally" (remember: Locked teams). They then left the gravity well. I lost the planet.
PS. I'd enjoy the game much more if ally AI were improved further, because I'd get decimated in multiplayer games, and I can't commit to more than a couple of hours a week at the moment.
