Updated & now Sins won't start.

I updated from version 1.13 to version 1.14 and now whenever ib try to start sins it just comes up with a black screen and says "Runtime error!". I don't get any details with this error it just tells me where the sins .exe is (how helpful), and that i should "contact the application's support team". Any help guys?

Im having the same problem. Runtime Error! Program: ...Games\Sins of a Solar Impire\Sins of a Solar Empire.exe This application has requested runtime to terminate in an unusaul way. Please contact apps support team.

This happened after updating to version 1.14

How do I fix?

How do I contact apps support team? Please help support team

V3nge, do you have Windows XP 64-bit like I and could that be the problem? Could it be that the patch does not support 4 gigs of memory? Them are the only problems I can think of that could be causing the problem.

Someone please HELP!

sins only uses up to 2gb ram, I had the same problem, it is caused by custom maps in BOTH GALAXY FOLDERS ie the C:\Documents and Settings\"user name"\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy and the C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy folders remove all maps in the doc & sett and all maps dated earlier than the 20th of feb 2009, also any mods that have maps in them

There was another post about this. Old maps wont work. Any maps you create with the current version of Galazy Forge or maps that came with v.13 will cause the game to error out. Follow the fix above. Move all of your old maps out of both of the game folders. Hopefully, the next update to Galaxy Forge will update old maps.

Devs/Mods, any ETA for the Galaxy Forge Update?

Thanks for the great game,
