I was and still am (Yay Mopping Up!) playing on centrifuge on entrenchment in a ffa against two normal AIs. I noticed that even when I won the bid to send the pirates elsewhere they would still attack the same roid colony of mine even when It wasn't on the closest route to the enemy planet.
Before I conquered it, they seemed to work fine.
Also I Have the saves if you need to look at them
