The 'RaidingPlayer' and 'InsurgentPlayer' options...

In the Notepad for any map with players in it, y'know?

What do these do, exactly? I havn't tested them myself (And I couldn't find if anything else had been posted on the matter) but I was thinking of trying them out, to see what they do. How's about any of you folks?

Well, I assume those are for special factions which do not work as normal ones, but are in fact responsible for random attacks. For example, I was surprised to find one of the enemy faction planets under attack by "Rebels", repeatedly.

That said, where exactly did you find those two options?

I think the advent have an ability which will incite rebellion on an opponent's world. That's probably how the 'rebels' work is one of those two. Maybe the pirates are the raiders. I don't know.

Ah, yes, pardon; they are found in any of the .Galaxy files for a map. Just search for the two keywords and you'll find them.

When you make a new player, it's always NormalPlayer TRUE, whilst the other two are FALSE (In my experience anyways). If it does do something like, as you said ManSh00ter, cause constant rebellion, could provide some interesting gameplay mechanics and campaign styled maps.

At any rate, I'll test some things out, since it seems largely unknown what they do precisely, for the most part.
