The Founders of the Old Earth Movement are decendants of the UGA scouting and colonization efforts in the Andromeda galaxy. upon engaging in FTL travel they discovered several other planets with human and silica based life forms. These planets were usually peacefully incorporated into the OEM, but if required they were forcefully assimilated. 

Losing contact with one of their scout drones in the center of their cluster of planets, the OEM inadvertantly discovered the UGA's Andromeda teleport relay. From this they determined the coordinates of what the databanks called "Tau'ri'den". Initiating the teleport sequence described in the manuals, they sent a tactical scout drone with long range gravitic communications.

The planet discovered was larger than any three of the planets in the empires current territories. Having a normal breatheable atmosphere and relatively normal gravity, the OEM sent a complete colony team to inhabit the planet and discover what if any natural resources it contained. Renaming the planet Prometheus, the team discovered a high quantity of natural monochromium, and set up a permanent relay and comms base on the planet.

The OEM is a dictatorial technocracy occupying the UGA extragalactic colonies and an area about twice the size of the Tau'ri empire in the north-eastern sector of the galaxy. While the majority of the people have moved to Prometheus and its surrounding star systems, we still maintain a strong presence in the Andromeda galaxy. We have discovered how to create and manipulate singularities of all sizes, due to a millenia of study of the singularity generator on Chronos in the Andromeda territories. Due to the effects of long term exposure of organic material to a singularity, we have created and integrated into our society a race of sentient robots.

Liberty prime was originally a governmental group organised in the golden age to ensure that Vetaron influence remained prominent through the Old Confederacy. However after the FTL catastrophy and the subsequent Civil wars on Liberty, Liberty Prime rose up and defeated all other groups. Besides having the most skilled diplomats and (thanks to core world based Shipyards) some of the most strongest ships outside of the Kyotian empire they opt for diplomacy rather than use their somewhat smaller fleets. Unfortunatley these are complsed of outdated vessels, but the skill of the crews aboard more than make up for this.

Earth is technically an city-planet, but we try to reserve space for domestic foliage.

As for the urban planets, since most food was supplied from out of system traders, the on planet farms and such were quickly overwhelmed. The remaining populace had to fight fiercly for food, and the planets were in a state of constant war. I suppose that there could be some survivors, but they would be fighting to hard to really advance, and would have actually regressed.

well i was sort of lucky. The Liberty System was comprised of several Earth Like planets, although only one was ever fully urbanised. with the FTL crises, the remaining planets were relagated to collection of raw materials. Of course there was some further logistics on these worlds but for the most part they were farmlands.

As for Regression, i admit that we have regressed. Our ships are sort of underposered by your current standards for instance. But remember that War may bring about more Technological changes in the long run so it sort of balanced out. For example, we are only now relearning about Quasi-Space.

In a move to consolidate our power, the space between Wyber and liberty has becomed fully colonised. In the effort, we have discovered what appears to be an older Vetaron ship with a strange jump drive capable of limited temporal travel. There were references to a "Dimensional engine" but it along with the Temporal drive immeadiately dissappeared in a shimmering glow of light. Nevertheless, the ship was towed back to the core worlds to begin retrofitting for frontline use.

I am extending my alliance proposition to the Liberty Prime faction as well. 

We begin preparations on a Spatial distortion array in orbit around Prometheus. This functions by utilizing large singularities to distort the fabric of space-time by folding it in on itself allowing me to simply use thrusters and pass through thousnads of lightyears with out waiting long. Unfortunately it requires enormus power to activate so it cannot be used for extra galactic transport, but it is incredibly useful for going intra galactic distances.

Before FTL was completely lost, I made one last request of the FN Sanctuary. That the majority of the population was sent back to the Orion Galaxy. I knew even with ftl lost the Ildirans still could survive and reunite. Even with massive 100 billion population on one planet could still sustain itself. Over time when space travel became possible again across the Orion Galaxy all at once because we were still connected by the thism and shared our technology. Several individual empires started to spring up. Soon it was unified under the Maltaih Imperium by the leader Vasduega Maraun.

Intergalactic refers specifically to travel or distance between points in a galaxy. Intra just means internally, and doesn't have anything to do with distance or travel. Also, transgalactic refers to travel or distance between two or more galaxies.

Well, we have found out something intresting. During the assualt on Theroc, an old failsave item called the Glory Device was installed on Kyotian ships. Lucikly we were able to subvert their systems before they were able to detonate them. Good timing, what with a 200 megaton yield and a considerable blast radius, the Glory devices certainly suit their Kanikazi attacks. In an ironic twist, they were using a similar subversion technique on our ships but with little to no success.

Wait, we just recieved word of a considerable Kyotian armada heading toward New Tokyo. The Liberty 221st fleet along with the 83rd and 435th task forces are heading to the FN capital in an attempt to bolster the defenses there!

We have moved to and colonized the planet "Terratron" and its surrounding territories and renamed them Nueva Terra. This serves a double purpose as both an embassy planet for the North Galactic Trade Alliance and a staging ground for our militaries. the formalization of this alliance has strengthened the economies and militaries of all states involved and has provided for a unified research corps based out of Nueva Terra. This will easily double or even triple our technological output, and their first task is to devise some sort of defence against Kyotian weaponry. Scout ships have been dispatched to gather data from the CDS-Kyoto and Tokyo-Kyoto fronts.

Due to the superoity of the Armada ships, which include Illidrian Superships and Hydrogue destroyers, a large percentage of our 221st armada was destroyed. Although we had to retreat we were able to subvert a number of their ships including a "Eclipse" class ship capable of creating even more ships through internal production facilities. The 83rd and 435th Task Forces have been diverted to New Tokyo pending the arriaval of the 221st.

Meanwhile, our scientists in the core worlds have perfected a fail proof Quasi-Space drive that will allow our forces to travel faster than normal FTL drives. Using this techology, we plan to constantly send in reinforcements to the Flaming Ninjas in the case of a siege episode
