Can save game data be combined?

I have Sins of a Solar Empire installed on my Desktop at home and laptop. First off is it possible to grab save game data from one computer and move it to another if I wish to play on the other system? This in of itself may answer my second question... not that its a big deal but the game as you know keeps track of certain "mile stones" such as having every capital ship of any given race at any one time or causing X number of damage to planets. This data, if I play one match on my desktop and then another on my laptop will result in two seperate progessions of these mile stones. Can they be combined?

Sure. In game, go to Options > Mods > Show Mod Path. The path for saves is the same, except instead of the \Mods folder it'll be in one of the save folders. There are 4 separate folders for saves, depending on the type: Autosaves for Single and Multiplayer, and manual saves for Single and Multiplayer.

Simply transfer the .save file (you don't need the .stats) to the other machine to play it.

The save *should* pick achievement progress for that particular game, but you can also transfer achievements, for which the file is pretty obviously named in the \Setting folder.
