Assailants and LRM's give wrong exp number

Assailants are stronger and cost more then LRM frigs but first one give only 20 exp while LRM bring 30 exp.Assailants also cost more supply then LRMs.Illuminators give 45,while assailants just 20.Is that a mistake and if not then wtf?

its just doesnt fair :( assailants much harder to kill and I get 1/3 less exp for them....it should be 30 for assailants and 20 for LRM.

Well, LRM's are a tech 2 unit, while Assailants are tech 1, so I do think that fact should counterbalance (perhaps not completely, but to some extent) the experience kickout of the assailant.  Certainly the huge difference between the two is too much.

Good catch Proletari.  As Darvin pointed out, the experience is probably based off of their tech levels, but this really isn't fair considering an Assailant is harder to kill than an LRM.  An Illuminator is definately more dangerous than a non-upgraded Assailant, but with phase missile upgrades, Assailants come into their own.  Assailant exp should probably be somewhere between that of an LRM and an Illuminator.  I never pay much attention to exp numbers...I wonder if some others are out of whack?
