Please Please Please Someone (Looks at JJ and Amish) Post a 'Decent' Replay.

Replays will help a new player learn alot faster than just reading forums.

Preferably a 1v1 replay would be nice as it provides good baseline play.

 

There is a disturbing lack of replays [or I just can't find ANY that work on the forums...where is the secret stash?]

 

EDIT: I made the mistake of combining the patch numbers for entrenchment and vanilla sins.. What I mean was vanilla sins version 1.17 (Title now changed).

I've never had luck posting replays, but I will offer this. When we're both on at the same time, I'd be glad to do a 2v2 against easy AI. The idea wouldn't be so much to do a comp stomp, but more to let me watch how you're playing to see if I can point out some ways to improve your start. From experience, I can tell you I've done this before and improved other people's play.

Hmm....fair enough. Guess that means two things.

1. I'll figure out replays. It's more or less touble with vista and finding the files.

2. Typically I'm online during the weekend. This weekend is an exception. I can catch you then.

Edit: I've been on at wierd times. I have an 8-4:30 job now though, so the best hours for you are the worst for me. I've been online anywhere from 5 pm to 7 am (had 12 hour runs at this game before...head hurts a lot after that I must admit). Who knows. Can probably find ya sometime this week or next.

Transfusion, there is one (1) replay for the current Sins 1.17.

Click Download at the top of this forum, then Download Replays. Choose Sort By Last Updated if it is not already selected.

The one you want is 1v2 unfair Advent AI by viewport, dated June 26, 2009. I watched about the first half hour of it, pretty good.

There might be other current replays lurking around somewhere, but I haven't seen them.

Hi folks.  I just wanted to ask again if anyone has or is willing to send me some 1.17 replays?  I enjoy the forums and all, I've been lurking a week or so, but in reality I feel I learn the most from replays.

Can anyone help me out?  I've viewed the one in the download replays section, however I'd like to see a few others to compare as well.

EDIT: Thought I'd add I don't have entrenchment.
