Ship won't show up

Hi

Im new in modding and didn't find anyposts about it so problem is next.

Ihave made an model and created an UV map.Custom made ship

The model just won't show up in the game

Model is in .mesh file type. And textures in dds.

So the problem shouldn't be in file types.

I have used this guide to put my ship in game.

https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/318314

Simply who don't wan't to download the tutorial I copied mesh and texture folder to my custom made ship and i replaced one mesh with my ship.

I am using 1.03 entrenchment developer exe.

Well it isn't supposed to be like replacement of ship just viewing ship ingame.

I have added one ship before then i didn't have that problem.

Is problem that the guide is unaccurate with 1.03 or im doing something very wrong.

Sorry if my english is too bad not good with communicating.

Hmm, one thing confuses me. what do you mean with you copied the folder to your ship? Did you copy the folder to the your mod?

This is how you replace a model in the game with yours through a mod:

First make a folder in the  C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods-Entrenchment v1.03 folder, fx "custom ship".

After that, make a folder named "Mesh" and one named "Textures". Now  add the mesh file in the Mesh folder and the textures in the Textures folder. The mesh file need to be named exactly as the model that you want to replace it with.

When you have done this start entrenchment and go to the options menu then mods  and enable the mod. The model should now have been replaced. I hope this helped with your problem.

Im doing that but the ship i replaced aka advent seeker vessel just spawns no errors and minidumps.

hmm sounds strange, have you only added the model? Also how does the error/errors look, especially the last one.

Theres the problem only error I will get is when i run the developer exe and it is about changes in user what turns graphic down.

hmm, sorry I don't think I can help you with that one, but hopefully someone else can.

That looks a lot like the 3ds max viewport, and if it indeed is, try opening the .mesh in notepad++ (Or similar), find and replace, and replace "iMaterial 1" with "iMaterial 0". Assuming you aren't using multiple materials.

Ok LoL hade much easier problem than i could expect when i replaced the Frigate_PsiScout.mesh file I hade space between Frigate_PsiScout and mesh so it looked like Frigate_PsiScout .mesh.
