it could be a number of things. how much ram do u have i have 4 gig and do not have any problems running any program or game it is better to have more than needed than not enough. 2nd what kind of graffix card do u have i have a ati radion  hd2600 pro i can play almost any game i have over clocked it by 10% it does very good i also run dual screens . so if it is not your ram and is not your grafix card it is prb. your processor. is to low to run the game well i have a dual core e2140 processors that i over clocked even though u are not suposed to with this type of processor. it is at 3.9 gig. so just take a look at your system  to see what u can improve on and see what programs u have running when u are playing games if u need to see what programs are running in the back ground and how to turn them off so they do not eat up your ram or processor go to service double click what u do not understand it will give u in detail what it does and u can pick to turn it off or delay start and so on by turning off the stiff u do not need it will free up ram and processor and also speed up boot and. one good tip if u have your on antivirus program turn off windows defender if u have your own fire wall turn off windows fire wall u do not need them if u have others it will free up a lot of speed and ram. good luck

The performance bottleneck for sins is usually the CPU, what processor do you have?

RAM could be it though, how much do you have?

It doesn't sound like your graphics card is the problem since the resolution is low.

Sins is notoriously hungry for processor time, even systems WAY above the minimum requirements sometimes experience slowdowns.

To see all the specs of your PC:

Hit Start, then Run, then type "dxdiag" and hit return.

You could report back with your results.......

And now the bad news. v_v

It's unlikely that you will be able to play this game in it's full glory on a laptop. If you paid £1000+ a year ago or £500+ within the laft few months then you may perhaps get a decent performance.....but if it's a cheapy forget it. "Normal" laptops are especially lacking in the graphics department and unless you've specifically bought a gaming jobby you are in trouble and will not even be able to upgrade to a better spec gfx card.

You say you've turned the resolution down?.......now you'll have to turn all the effects and detail setting off or to low methinks.
