Me and my friend were playing in a game together and suddenly I get disconnected from Ironclad Online.  Luckily he saved about 5 minutes ago, so he hosted the game again and I joined it.  Then he starts pointing out where enemies are attacking, but I can't see the enemies he's saying.  After about 20 minutes we go and compare game times in the "Saved Games" menu and realize I'm somehow 14 minutes behind his saved game in the 4 most recent saved games, and what he see's happens for me 14 minutes later on.

Does this happen often?

Is there any way to fix it?

We tried:

-Him saving and hosting after it had occured

-Me saving a game, and hosting it

-Trying an old save game (the only one that worked was 30 minutes into the game, we had been playing for 3+ hours)

None of that worked.
