Basically, this game is played so that the last person who post wins. What do they win? The ThreadKiller's Achievement; The honor of being the last person to post by virtue of the content of their post. However, moderators, admins, and anyone else who has the ability to lock the thread are disqualified from winning the ThreadKiller's Achievement, if they win by locking. If the thread is won by method of locking, the "winner" gains the Achievement Of Reprehensible Epic Lameness.

Yeah not sure what happened. Just know the power went out, the kids started crying until I got the mini LED lamps going and then ten minutes later the power was back on.

It could have been a brown out but someone who was driving through the neighborhood said they saw a blue flash in the area about the time the lights went out.

Oh, probably a transformer blew. Neighborhood I used to live in had that a couple of times. Once I got to see the thing actually explode. Just happened to be attached to a repairman at the time. Good times.

Yeah, heat can do that to those things. Keep in mind that the US power grid is using obsolete tech originally developed by Tesla and that the current equipment is aging terribly. Engineers have been concerned about this for years as the government and companies refuse to invest in new infrastructure.
