The Internet is a place where anybody can be whatever they want, which instantly prompts many to get loud and become the abrasive and unlikeable type of person that they would clearly never dare to be in the real world.
Also, it allows whole new variations of crime.
And, as tesb rightly pointed out, it made porn instantly available to everybody for free. Take that as you will.
And still it is invaluable, because the pros far outway the cons.
