So, what you guys been up to?

New TV/Monitor so have been watching old things to see them new. (HD)

Not much, just hanging out with a bunch of really hot girls while the rain has kept everyone indoors...

Just experienced some strange power glitch that seems to have only affected my stereo and PC, both of which are on different circuits mind you, and didn't do a damned thing to anything else in my place.  Momentary power flicker or something, but my clocks and microwave (no battery back up on any of them) are all just fine...

A power flicker to a device that's in stand by mode and not consuming any power I can understand that it wouldn't be affected like a power hungry PC running, but my stereo was off and the only reason why I know it was affected was because I normally having it displaying the time and at the exact same moment that my PC wigged out, it switched to not displaying the time.

If I was superstitious, I'd swear I was being haunted.

Was there lightening going on? I know from personal experience the lightening does weird things to high power usage items. Lived on a house that was on a high hilltop and even with the computer and stereo unplugged, weird things would happen when lightening would strike. Clocks and other low power usage items were uneffected.

Nope, not even raining at the time, nor was it windy at all...  Just a flicker that caused my screen to dim for a second, my cable modem reset, my PC to try to shutdown, but ultimately not.

My stereo on the other side of the room, in it's off state displays the time unless I have the eco mode on and then it just has the red LED on the power button on, which is what it switched to all by itself at the exact same time as my PC went nutty.

And like I said, they're both on different circuits so it's not like it's a circuit breaker thing, the PC is surge protected, nothing else is, nothing I own has a battery backup, and only those two things (well, 4, but 3 of them are plugged into the same outlet group) were affected...  So...  Whatever happened, happened....

Kind of confusing, so naturally, I go back to trying to figure out how to get the black holes in DS to work better.

I dont think it cost too much, same company that made Paper Jamz. I dont know it seem awesome that you can play just about anywhere at anytime with as many people as you want.
