Banned because he is not, in fact, joking. Weakly-interacting massive particles are a theoretical family of particles similar to neutrinos existing beyond the standard model, and are one of two possible explanations for the predicted existence of dark matter. Unfortunately, their existence is nearly impossible to objectively test, as they are by definition invisible to teloscopy and interaction with conventional matter.
