There is any way to edit a map to make players already start with capital ship slot level 1 research already upgraded?
It is easy to make a race start with a specific capitalship, you have to explain the other part in more detail.
No, i was talking about making that, on one specific map, the player will start the game with the first capital ship slot research, already upgraded.
^Nope, best you could do is mod the research to be free, but that would affect all maps. You might be able to mod the starting cap limit too two as well, but that would have the same problems as the first.
I am not that mutch into making maps, so I can't say for sure, but I don't think that it is possible to do that.
