Sinstextbinner

Hey i have a problem with the binner, i trie to convert the PlanetTerranHome.entity to txt, but when i choose the file, and click Convert this folder, Cover this folder NOW  it gives me no time needed or if i have failed to covert or did id convert the file, i'll have the success, failed, summary and a skipped txt doc's but they are empty(besides summary, tells me that nothing failed/skipped or succeeded, and took 0 seconds, 0minutes) How can i make it work?!

"Cough" edit button "cough", you have to double click on the folder which the file is in.

Okay  here is a pic of every step i do.....And the result....

1st.Opend the binner(http://www.mediafire.com/i/?zngdjjzcqvj)

2nd. Selected my game dir and the entity file(http://www.mediafire.com/i/?1ykzjuntw11)

3rd.Converted using 3rd step(http://www.mediafire.com/i/?zuqyevyk0dm)

4th.Converted using the 4th step(http://www.mediafire.com/i/?xtzuczjj1jm)

And there you go, nothing in ANY Folder of my PC's HDD....I looked from everywhere even the hidden folders i checked....

ranger, my textbin gui was designed to do ENTIRE folders AND subfolders in a run. it was NOT designed to convert a single file and CAN NOT convert a single file OR convert the files in the program files tree to protect the game files so that you can continue to play sins/entrenchment/diplomacy.

the simplest way to create a mod without copying the ENTIRE sins game folder AND subfolders out of the program files path is to download the reference files for the expansion you want the mod for ie diplomacy, entrenchment or sins. if you are using either diplomacy OR entrenchment then the planet******.entity files that are used are in the entrenchment set.

you would have to make a mod folder in your ironclad games\sins \mods-EXPANSION v#.### folder (where EXPANSION is "" for vanilla sins,"Entrenchment" for entrenchment,"Diplomacy" and the #.### is the currently installed sins/expansion version number), eg more starebases

inside your new mod folder you will NEED a gameinfo folder, and the entity files ned to be placed in it.

THEN you edit the planet*******.entity files to make the changes you want.

after all of this you then start you game, them go to options them mods then click on your new more starbases mod, click on enable, then click on apply, NOW start a new game with the mod

hope this helps
