step by step in downloading a mod

Hey fellow Sinners

As a newbe on mods I would like to know what are the steps in downloading mods such as 7 deadly sins and the babylon 5 mods.

I had tried one time but did not know what I was doing, once I had went to the download site and downloaded a mod, I thought all that one would have to do was download the mod and it would automatically show up in the mod folders in Sins, Wrong!X(   . My question is once I download the B5 mod what are the next steps in order to get the download from one place to the sins mod folder or to put it another way , I would like to know how to put the mod in the mod folder:|

Try [Tutorial] Placing Mods

You need to extract the mod with winzip winrar or 7z. The mod should be a folder named the mod name inside the appropriate game version folder.

C:\Users\myfist0\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods-Diplomacy v1.011\My mod

also notice that the current public 7 deadly sins (2.1) is very old. You can get the latest version by visitting the danman forums and apply as an alpha tester.
