Error message while trying to activate mods

whenever i try to activate a mod i get this error message and then the game stops responding

Please could u help fix this

most likely is you are trying to use a mod from a different version or expansion.

which mod(s) are you trying to activate in which sins version and expansion?

im trying to activate maelstrom Original 1.191_3 and Sacrifice of Angels 2

im not using any expansion and how do i find out what version my game is?

Version is at the bottom right of the games main menu screen.

The Sacrifice of Angels for original sins is for version 1.191.
