Skybox color always the same v1.21

Hi. After updating to v1.21 the skybox color is always blue on loaded saved games regardless of settings. Please help

Skyboxes are determined at random every time you start/load a game. You can check/uncheck the use colored/deep space skybox checkbox in the effect tab in the options menu to toggle between them. If you still get the same skybox after trying that a couple times, you might have a problem.

Yes. I'm aware of the checkboxes to toggle the diff. colors. Resolved this by going into the user directory and deleting the settings files. Strange.
