I know there's been multitudes of posts about these and that optimization project to fix it.

But you know, I'm still an idiot and I was wondering what to do to fix it.

I've tried installing mods and such, but couldn't find any reliable ones, and ones that did work just crashed soon after.

Once again, I'm a noob and I use trainers too, so any way I can fix the minidump error without lots of technicalities?

hmm...in my email I specifically spelled out the problem and that fact that it was a mod and the reply was specific enough.  Can't solve the issue with the saves I sent I guess.

"We figured the submitter was referring to the Maelstrom MAP, not a mod. :P  No, we don't offer support for mods.

Why should they support that which isn't theirs? The problem is with the mod, which they don't have anything to do with. If you add an after-market spoiler to a car and it breaks, you don't go back to the dealer you got the car from...

They initially replied that understood and that they would help with the problem.  I did receive a PM from what I guess is Maelstrom support.

It's not so far-fecthed that sins support would help.  I believe they were active in supporting the Maelstrom mod and I swear I read somewhere that sins was supporting the mod.  Maybe it's the Maelstrom team support page I was reading.

We'll see if we can work the problem out.
