So, I've seen a few others report similar issues, so I just wanted confirm that I have experienced these as well.
First, pathfinding seems a bit wonky to me. And I've noticed things beyond basic pathfinding as well. My fleet doesn't form a single body anymore, but rather several smaller groups and prioritizes reforming the fleet before attacking. I experienced this while messing around with the TEC. That same fleet also had several ships WAY outside the normal tolerance of a gravity well [specifically Kodiaks].
Second, after I got fed up with manually correcting my fleets movement, I decided to return to my beloved Advent to decrease my frustration levels, but I was met with an even greater problem. TEC ships were bypassing my shields almost completely. There is no way a Lv4 Ragnarov can destroy a Lv10 Eradica at one of my own planets that is broadcasting culture, with a fully upgraded starbase [2 Mass Disorientation, 2 Meteoroid Control, 2 Weapon, 2 Armor], and repair bays and antimatter/shield restore, all tech researched. My titan died with ~8000 of ~14000 shield remaining. Unless I missed something, TEC should not be able to bypass shields at all. This is ridiculous. I had thought it strange that my capitals kept dying so quickly, and then I watched my titan crumble, thankfully Unyielding Will works against the AI.
I've not tested whether Vasari have gained an ungodly chance to bypass shields, or whether Advent also bypass their own shields, but in any case, something is seriously wrong here.
Another thing I noticed, but did not double check was when an asteroid of mine got attacked by a TEC fleet with a Ragnarov using Snipe. It targeted my starbase and after being hit, my starbase started to rotate away from the impact site...
Aaanyway... I realize I should have taken screenshots and/or saved replays, but did not. When I decide I'm ready for a second round of almost certain death, I will. Mainly wanted to confirm that these issues exist.
