Sins Of A Solar Empire: Trinity disc will not open installation process

Hi,

I just bought SOASET. I put the disc in the drive and I can hear it getting read but nothing will open. I have windows 8 on my machine and a little window is supposed to pop up and ask you what you want to do with what is in the disc drive but that window never comes up. I'm really frustrated, as it is a brand new game, and I can't figure out why this would happen.

Edit: Found the issue. There was a problem with the driver.
