I must have gotten confused between the two, as I sometimes start with the elemental forum, I apologize for bringing this up, I just had to look for it better, thanks for the heads up.
By the way, I played a game with the 1.4, and I would like to post some feedback:
From what I read on the patch notes, I was expecting the other minors to actually "do" something this time around, instead of being just a "buffering" zone and a source of trade/gifts.
My custom game was set up at normal difficulty, and hard difficulty for the minors. Throughout 311 turns (could have ended it much sooner, just wanted to fool around a bit), only 1 minor out of five built a second city despite plenty of places available to settle and them having built settler units that were just running around "confused" as if they couldn't find a proper place.
The land was not occupied or claimed by any other camp/faction. They just wouldn't settle at all.
Also for what concerns combat, their units would just get stuck and patrol around, never making any real attack to a specific object, at least apparently.
In fact the roads to reach the shadow king were few and narrow, and all these narrow passages were occupied by minors allied with me (so at war with the sorcerer king) and behind them by sorcerer king units, but they would not fight each other at all.
I think this really does need more tweaking.
Also for the first time since release, I haven't seen the sorcerer king build more settlements either... normally he almost spam them, but this time he would just send few troops to the shards and nothing else.
Now a little quality of life improvement that would make a world of difference to me: allow the player to use the mouse wheel to scroll through all the units when you need to assign an item you just crafted to someone. Or with numpad keys or any other sort of shortcut/way to speed the process up. It's really slow having to click so many times to get to the unit you want.
Sure you can just craft everything on the inventory and then mass equip one unit after another, but the method before would still make it faster, also being able to accept the prompt with some hotkey. If they are already keybinded to something I couldn't guess it/find it in the options.
Also a bug with the targeting in the tactical battle when there are units too big on the screen surrounded, like the lieutenant of the sorcerer king. Because of the fixed camera and the model being so huge, it was a struggle to attack the units behind him, impossible in the case of the north-eastern tile of his hitbox.
Could you review the hitboxes for huge creatures to don't let that happen? I can post a screenshot tomorrow of what I mean if needed.
