Haven't played Sins for probably 2~ years or so, for some unknown reason I had an urge to play again today. So I made a custom galaxy, but the scouts seem broken.

When they come out of the ship factory I turn on the 'auto explore' but they just sit there doing nothing. I manually order them to go to the nearest planet, half of the time they idle while being attacked by pirates (mind you, auto explore is on during this), the other half of the time they might explore the next planet and then they will idle there. Weird?
