Well, as MS jumped onto the app-store train, so having an account makes full sense to me. I don't see condemnation of Apple nor Google here which do this for years now. Nowdays You literally can't even have decent software nor games on Your PC or even pay for them without having a myriad of accounts all arround the interweb. So what is the outrage again?
I would also mention, that those of us with 12th gen INTEL hardware will most definitely WANT to run Win 11 (thanks to the special attention 12th gen Intel procs get in win11). As a long-time 'tech' myself, there are no hurdles Microsoft has ever put in our paths which techs doing what we do (find and implement solutions) can't overcome. We as techs just need to be willing and able to live and work in a constant state of change. This 'state of change' has certainly been accelerating for some time now, but it is possible still to ride the wave.
As has always been the case for me, I have embraced the newest MS offering head-on and continue slogging away....
Good day gents!
