Sorry, can't remember which anomaly I explored. But the flavor text says:
Gain 425 credits by selling the Arnor Apice to the highest bidder.
+250 (credit icon) Treasury.
I received 250 credits. Please match the numbers.
That is the Arnor Spice anomaly, and the 425 is stale text rather than a payout that failed. The sell choice grants a flat credit reward that is not driven by the number in that sentence, so the sentence can drift without anything else noticing.
What gives it away is that the same 425 line still exists for the Monsatium cache event, which does not have a sell option any more. Both are leftovers from an earlier pass over those Arnor events.
So the description is the thing that needs fixing, not your treasury. Quoting both numbers is what made it quick to confirm.
I am asking for the description to be fixed. Is this not the correct forum to do that?
Yes, this is the right place. GalCiv IV bug reports go in this forum and a wrong description counts as one.
Confirming which half is broken is the useful part of it. The reward is behaving, the sentence describing it is not, so what it needs is a text fix rather than a change to the event itself.
