Sure. OB2 (still in beta) even let you put widgets IN the bars.

Wouldn't you have 2 taskbars if you're using a DX theme?

DesktopX isn't designed to create bars. It's designed to build desktops or desktop pieces (widgets/gadgets). ObjectBar is designed to be a container for things (including widgets/gadgets).
