Good comments 1st: Love the changes to capital ships, very reasonable I think. I also really enjoyed the splitting of research buildings and searching planets. Pirate bases are cool, but you should get something for destroying them I think (maybe I get something but I don't know it).

I also like the fact that saving the game doesn't take an eon anymore. Thanks a bunch!

Bad stuff: I notice in this version that a lot of the time my mouse panning around the screen stops working. I'm forced to scroll all the way out, double click an object, then zoom in. I can't just browse around the map despite my mouse being on the edge of the screen. Interesting thing is if my view is following a ship and I move my mouse to the edge, I still stop following, I just can't move my view anywhere.

Also, I have a saved game that immediately crashes the client. Want it?
