Saved Games won't load

Friend and I have just done a complete re-install of Sins thru Stardock Central. We wiped out the Iron Clad dir under Documents and Settings/Application data and we still get these errors when trying to restore a Saved game:
Failed to find file '' in either primary path or secondary path. subDir(Galaxy)
Failed to Open File: '..\..\DataSource\Galaxy\'

yeah, multiplayer saves dont work in .030

Seems to be working fine in singleplayer, but is bugged in Multiplayer

? I've had several successful multiplayer loads. You can't do a save after someone has dropped is the only bug I've seen -- saving then reloading works fine.

I believe we did at least one auto-save restore...

No, it doesn't. The AI retains control of their empire.
