my take on beta 4 so far

a bit buggy but a good beta.


1 the AI has become a lot better. i had to redesign my defenses against them.


2 the way the vasari are designed they should be doing hit and runs unless of course the can actually take the grav well. they do seem to have god ships if a bit expensive.


3 before the resources was too few now they are too much.


4 in the resource list the total of all planets should be at the bottom of the list. so that you can see it when your list goes over the top of the screen.

Are you playing on the new fast setting? The new fast is significant faster then the old fast. So it's not that you have too much resources, it's just that you're too slow to spend it all.

Actually that list should really be scrollable. Would make it useful in larger galaxies then.

this might be helpful to some but when i decide to look at it all i care about is the total.

i almost defeted a vasari clan with 1 cap and 7 frigates. i did have to replace the 7 frigates several times.


he was trying to do hit and runs and it back fired on him.


i had to bring in more ships to take out his capital.


oh i almost forgot i was also a vasari clan.

while playing my last two games.

i ran into a problem. some of my ships got stuck in hyper space. they wouldn't go to the planet that i ordered them to. but in the last game i told them to return to the planet that they came from and they hyper spaced back. so i am guessing for some reason they dropped out of hyper space and were trying to fly sub light to the grave well. when i ordered them back they were able to get back into hyperspace
