Not true for Acrobat 7.0 PRO. The file type is assigned to Acrobat 7.0 However, icon is not assigned to AcroExch.Document which is the file type we know as PDF. It is assigned to AcroExch.Document.7. You can try to alter through properties after you right click, however, the iccon for PDF is not changed. We found this out after researching the registry.

I found out that the file type icons ".pdf" ".ai"".psd" are actually managed by new entries in the registry. They are "AcroExch.Document.7", "Photoshop.Image.8" and I dont have the new name for the illustrator file as I write this. However the DefaultIcon is not changed by Icon Packager for the two I mentioned. Both require unique registry changes. Once the changes are in place everything works as it should. Also, for photoshop you are required to add

We had a similar problem. During the boot, there was an error screen that lasted 1 sec. It had something to due with the a corrupted file or time.date. We just dont know as the time of display was too short. Fortunately, we have Norton Ghost and rolled back the system.
