I have this same issue. Primary: WinXP, Secondary: Vista Ultimate (32 bit). Troubleshooting on the vista machine shows "Multiplicity winlogon dll is NOT running". Can't get connectivity between machines. This problem seems sporadic to me and I have yet to figure out what common activity causes the issue. It seems like the issue is increasing in frequency, but that could be a result of my increasing frustration
Hello - First let me say I love this product! I'm having a rather peculiar problem that I can't get resolved. First, my environment: Primary Machine: Vista Ultimate (32bit) Laptop Secondary Machine: XP Pro SP2 Desktop Multiplcity Version: 1.2 Professional Network: Local network, gigabit switch, primary/secondary on the same switch, machines have static IP addresses. Ah, our posts crossed in the night - I didn't see your laptopvideo2go suggestion before posting my "ugh" note I grabbed drivers from the site and everything seems to be working, thanks very much for the assistance! I'm not sure if I should post here or create a new thread given how old this one is but, I'll try here first... I just bought & downloaded DA 1.6 this evening and I am having the same problem described in this thread. None of the suggestions in the thread above work (including playing windowed, which you'll notice I kill towards the end of the debug below). Very frustrating to buy a brand new game and be unable to play past about 30-45 minutes, so any help would be appreciated. My deb
jared798: vista uses a different class of video driverse, make sure your video card is running 'real drivers' (not the ones included with vista) or your 3d performance will really, really suck I also couldn't get the autorun to work, but using setup.exe directly I got the game to install - and with proper video drivers it is running just fine. I'm running Vista Beta 2 (build 5384.4) on an XPS Gen 2
